Workshop in Zambia: Finding Business Contacts and Market Information
19 November 2009

A workshop for Zambian business support organisations was held in Lusaka last week by Zambia Development Agency, the Swedish Chambers and Finnpartnership.

The aim was to develop new processes for finding business partners as well as share information on trade promotion services and how to enter the Nordic and EU markets, with a special focus on Sweden and Finland.

The participants came from a dozen different Zambian business support organisations. They were very active and committed to the task and by the end of the two workshop days they had outlined a strategy for improved handling of business contacts and market information. They also decided to form a network to continue the collaboration and sharing of experience.

The opening speech for the workshop was given by Finnish Ambassador Mrs Sinikka Antila and the closing speech by Swedish Ambassador Mrs Marie Andersson de Frutos. Afterwards the participants were invited to a cocktail at the residence of the Finnish Ambassador.
