Experience-sharing in Rwanda
26 April 2010

The Swedish Chambers shared their concepts and ideas for export promotion and member services with the Rwandan business community at a workshop held in April in Kigali.

The participants were very interested both in the services within the Swedish Chambers’ Trade Promotion Programme and how the Chambers work with their member companies to strengthen networks and bring them to the internatonal markets.

Networking and training are very important to enhance the capacity of companies in Rwanda, according to the workshop participants. However, many of the companies have not yet realised how vital they are. The international experience-sharing can help bridge this gap.

The workshop was initiated by the Rwandan Embassy in Stockholm and organised in cooperation with the Private Sector Federation (PSF).
