The programme

The Swedish Chambers have been contracted by Sida (Swedish International Development Cooperation Agency) to carry out a programme to promote trade from developing countries. The trade promotion programme runs from 2009 to 2011 and focuses on business contacts, market information, training and seminars. Activities are coordinated and carried out in cooperation with other trade promotion actors in Sweden and other parts of the world.

Some 30 countries are eligible for assistance within the trade promotion programme. In March 2010, Sida decided that all countries on the DAC list should be able to download market information.
